Patient Journey
At Tonbridge Dentistry, our patients are at the heart of everything we do. That's why we want to make visiting the practice as easy as possible, and why we're constantly developing our knowledge and services to ensure our patients have access to the latest and most effective dentistry. The practice is fully wheelchair accessible and our team is multilingual.
From the moment you enter the practice you will be greeted by our friendly, helpful reception team, who will ask you to complete a medical history form and a patient questionnaire, to find out what your wishes are for your dental care.
When you are introduced to your dentist, you’ll have the chance to ask any questions you may have, and to raise any issues – whether they be problems with your teeth or gums, questions about cosmetic dentistry, or fear of dental treatment. We’re highly experienced in treating nervous patients.
Your dentist will thoroughly examine your teeth, gums and surrounding structures. We’ll also take any x-rays as necessary, to help show any hidden problems such as early-stage tooth decay, which may not be immediately obvious. If we find any issues, we’ll run through all your treatment options, including costs. We may recommend you visit our hygienist for a thorough clean of your teeth and gums and, if you need any specialist treatment, we’ll refer you to one of our experts in the practice or within the local area.
